Ronald R. Hoerr

2022 at his home. He was born in Belleville, Illinois on November 7th, 1935.

Ron served his country in the United States Navy from 1954-1957 and worked at

Illinois Power for over 25 years. He loved hanging out at his lake house with his

friends and family, never missed a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game and loved his

Stag beer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Rosella (Krupp) Hoerr, wife

of 26 years, Carol Ann (Gowin) Hoerr, and his niece, Kristy Hoerr.

Surviving are his daughters: Debbie Thompson of O’Fallon, IL; Susie (Wright)

Carter of Millstadt, IL; Rhonda (Gary) Van Osdale of Belleville, IL; and Tisa

(Tom) Reay of Smithton, IL; stepson Jeff Guffey (Carla) of Sturgis, South Dakota;

grandchildren: Heather (Jordie) Hauss; Lauren (Mark) Morton; Katelyn (Matthew)

Touchette; Sarah (Blake) Arnold; Nick (fiancée Kaylee Bouas) Van Osdale; Alex

Van Osdale; and Carly Reay. Great-grandchildren: Ella, Jay, Charlie, Jackson,

Claire, Weston and Ava; a brother, Wilfred (Saundra) Hoerr; and a nephew, Bruce

(Beatrix) Hoerr.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 10th, 2022 at Valhalla

Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home.

Per his wishes there will be no funeral.

Interment will be private and at a later date.
