you would be so proud of me I miss you so much. It’s not fair. I love you dad

You shall never be forgotten. We strive to live in a way that would make you proud.

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone. Seems redundant at this point but we miss you. We had rye bread and dill dip. Its the first year since you've been gone we were able to find it. 
We love and miss you so very much. 
Three years ago today was one of the last times I ever talked to you. Still feels unreal.

A friend asked me today what was the hardest thing I had ever done. Losing you without question. I still think of you daily. The fourth of July was your favorite holiday. Its been a rough one since you left. Little things like the kids eating popsicles make me miss you. BBQing always makes me think of you. Taking the kids to the zoo. Driving to and from work. Grocery shopping. Pepper makes me think of you. Bacon. Any breakfast makes me think of you. We all four finally got our kids together and went to breakfast. I dont know why this isnt getting easier. You'd probably shake your head and grip at me. I miss you so very much.

Your birthday came and went. You would have been 54. So much has happened since you've been gone. I think back to that fateful day when you went away and it instantly brings tears to my eyes. The ache in my heart is as strong as it was that day. I still find myself asking why. They say you are in a better place. I know Im being selfish but all I want is you here with us.

I laid down to go to bed today. Had a dream about you. Woke up in tears. I miss you so very much still. Still questioning why ? You have no idea what a mess and how lost I am without you.

And yet this horrible nightmare continues.The days keep passing . . its been two long years now.It feels like yesterday I received the phone call that changed everything. Im still lost and very much a mess.There is so much I want to tell you and to ask you. I just want to be able to talk to you again.They say time heals all yet I still fail to see the truth in that. I continue to miss you everyday.

Seven months have passed
I'll never forget the day
Someone rang to tell me

It makes me sick and weak

Lost 
I have lost my friend.
Who will I call with my good news?
I have lost my adviser.
Who will I call when nothing makes sense?
I have lost my rescuer.
Who will I call to save me when life gets to be too much?
I have lost my shoulder to lean on.
Who will I call when I just need to talk?
I have lost my father.
There will never be anymore calls that end with  C-Ya ,    I love you .

Its been a year now. I continue to be utterly and completely devastated without you. I have been literally lost in this world since you've been gone. There is nothing I wouldn't do or say to have you back with us. The tears still flow quickly when you cross my mind which seems to still be quite often. They say it gets easier. .  I fail to believe them. I really wish I could turn back the hands of time. I can't think of the words to express the terrible loss I feel daily. I doubt they exist. My world will never be right again. . .

Last year right after Thanksgiving you called me to tell me you had the best Thanksgiving ever and I told you how I had screwed up my turkey. You told me not to worry about it this year you would cook it for me. Well Thanksgiving is here again and you aren't.Its been almost a year and I still wake up in tears most days.I am such  a mess without you.The days don't seem to be getting easier. . . .

I want my Dad back now. I miss you soooo much. Still everyday I think of you. I love you Dad.

its crazy how life has gotten with such  a big void though we love and miss you every day I just would like to have one last phone call I would have made time to stay on the phone

Today is not a good day. In life we get busy and focus on other things. Sad thoughts of you are constant yet we are able to shake them off and get through the day. Today is one of those days there is no shaking it off. Today all we can do is cry and ask why??? WE JUST WANT OUR FATHER BACK NOW.

Well its been 141 days without you. The times we've actually picked up the phone to tell you something or ask your advice cannot be counted. We miss you soo much. Not a day goes by without a thought of you. The loss of you continues to be a strange and horrible nightmare we cannot wake from.

Just learned of Ron's passing.  So sorry to learn of the loss.  He was a wonderful person.  He will be greatly missed and left a void that can not be filled.

Ron was a joy to work with, he always made you smile when he was at the window at work. I will miss giving him peaches in the summertime :)

Cindy we are sorry for your loss.  Didn't know Ron really well but did know he was a good man.  Our prayers are with the family in your time of sorrow.
