

She was born March 24, 1928 in Belleville, IL to Earl and Martha (Boden) Stoeckel. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Odessa (George) Broadhurst and Vivian (David) Ogle; son-in-law, Wayne Mills; and special friend, Elmer Haeman.
Rose is survived by two daughters, Cindy Mills and Sarah (Curt) Spence; three grandchildren, Barry (Stephanie) Mills, Karis Graves, Carrie (Charlie) Levesque; two great-grandchildren, Brady Mills and Alice Graves; nieces Nancy Sanders, Marsha Anderson, Laura Murphy; and nephew Thomas Best.
Rose retired in 1993 with 28 years as a federal civil service employee at Scott AFB. She enjoyed sewing, golfing, and bowling.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Vitas Healthcare and Freeburg Care Center for the care they showed Rose during her time there.
