Rosemond Ilene Lindauer

Rosemond Ilene, nee Pontious, Lindauer, 75, of Belleville, Illinois, born January 13, 1939 in Belleville, Illinois, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 after a brief illness with cancer.

Ilene was a member of Hope Church, Belleville, Illinois, the Smithton Turners Ladies Auxiliary and the down town YMCA. Ilene was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed going anywhere with her grandchildren.

Ilene was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. Lindauer; parents, Fahren E. and Rosemond Doris, nee Goedeke, Pontious.

Surviving are her loving children, Wayne Lindauer, Debra (Michael) Skaer and Jennifer O’Donnell; grandchildren, Kristen Skaer, Kaitlyn Skaer, Kathryn Skaer, Klayton Skaer and Emma O’Donnell; siblings, Robert (Janet) Pontious, Dennis Pontious, Fay George, Judith (Jim) Akers, Karen (Kenneth) Bunch and Gail Pfingsen; also survived by other relatives and friends.
