

Bunny retired from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville after serving 25 years in housekeeping. She was loved by all who met her, never knew a stranger, and had a smile that lit up the room. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, and watching sports; especially tennis.
Bunny was preceded in death by her husband, William McHugh; parents, Rudolph Veath and Aurelia Schwarz, nee Meyer; son-in-law, David Patterson; siblings, Robert Veath, Richard Veath, Joan Rogers, nee Veath; and brother-in-laws; Norman Rogers, and Loraine Braun.
Surviving are her loving children; a son, Kurt McHugh; two daughters, Kathryn (Jimmy Sexton) McHugh, and Linda Patterson, nee McHugh; four grandchildren, Natalie (Anthony Ware) McHugh, Corey (Maria) McHugh, Chad McHugh, and Taylor Rush Holcomb; four great grandchildren, Aleigha Ware, Emmalee Ware, Abigail McHugh, and James Kurt Lee McHugh; sisters, Mary Jane Braun, and Carolyn (Kenneth) Metze; sibling-in-laws, Anna Mae Veath, and Loveen “Lovey” Veath; a very special caregiver considered a daughter, Jane Beauchamp; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
