Vernetta Miller, age 80, of Belleville, IL, passed away in Waterloo, IL on Thursday, November 5th, 2020. She was born in East St. Louis, IL, to Joseph and Anne Queveraux on October 31st, 1940. “Mom” as she was lovingly called, is survived by her sons Terry (Dawn) Miller and Ricky (Tracy) Miller; grandchildren Brandon (Hannah) Peterson, Jennifer (Lance) Kimme, Alyssa Reinhardt, Airyn (Jake) Harper, Taylor Miller, Shannon (Nathan) Pittsinger, and Terry Miller; great-grandchildren Kasyn, Paisley, Rowan, Ellie, Madison, Katana, Racer, and Giada. Vernetta was an incredibly loving and caring individual. She absolutely loved children and her family was the center of her life. She ran a daycare center out of her home, raising most of the neighborhood’s children for over 25 years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. A graveside service will take place at Valhalla Gardens of Memory on Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 at 10 AM.
