Mrs. Prest, was a member of the Tilden Presbyterian Church, she was a past president of American Legion, East St. Louis #53, Past Chapeau Passe of St. Clair County Saloon 148 of the 8 & 40, Past President of the Tilden’s Women’s Club, Past President of Coulterville Women’ Club, Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Member of District Officer Club of Southern Region, Eastern Star Marissa Amaryllis Chapter #750, Tilden’s Presbyterian Church Women’s Association, Grand Caste Committee Clun, Past 25th District President of the State Board Illinois Federated Women’s Club and a member of the Red Hat Society.

Mrs. Prest was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Prest; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and John Hartman, Sr.; parents, Wilbur and Ethel, nee Brown, Hamilton; brother, Wilbur “Bud” Hamilton; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred M. and Leo Vanderwarker;

Surviving are her grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Hartman, John (Lynn) Hartman, Jr,; Great Grandchildren, Emily Hartman, Rebecca (the Late Kevin) Rouch, Melissa (Bob Baker) Hartman and John (Erin) Hartman, III,; Great Great Grandchildren, Zachary “Zack” Rouch, Taylor Hartman, Connor Baker, Gracie Hartman and Gabrielle (Gabby) Hartman; sister in law, Mildred Hamilton Miller; nephew, Daniel (Diane) Hamilton and a great nephew, Daniel David Hamilton.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Dennis Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois
