

William was the owner/ operator of Bill’s Lawn Care. He was a member of MESS, the Teamsters, and attended Journey Church, Freeburg, Illinois. William was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he loved fishing and always had a smile on his face and lived life to the fullest. Bill served in the United States Navy.
William was preceded in death by his two infant sons, Keith and Kevin O’Dell; parents, Ray Maxwell and Marion Miller, nee Pentland, O’Dell and a sister, Beatrice Parks.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Helen O’Dell, nee Spinnie; children, Loran (Angie) O’Dell of Saratoga Springs, Utah; James O’Dell of Lake Forest, California, Kelly O’Dell Williams of Florissant, Missouri; step daughter, Lisa (Dwayne) Jackson of O’Fallon, Illinois; grandchildren, Candyce (Jeremy) Wiche, William Heimerdinger, Christopher O’Dell, Ashley O’Dell, Carter O’Dell, Luke O’Dell, Amaya Wayman and Keaton Jackson, a great grandchild on the way, Raegan. Bill will be greatly missed by his beloved four legged family, Carlie, Gracie, Callie and Coco. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews and many many dear friends.
Memorials in William’s memory may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society or to Dirks Golden Retriever Rescue.

Funeral : Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. Holly Wood officiating.
Inurnment will be held in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 12:30 pm.
