Yvette Phillips, 89, of Belleville, IL, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 26, 2023. She was born October 15, 1934 in Chateauroux, France, to her parents, Michel and Henriette (Brouillard) Heroux, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jeannine Phillips.
Yvette worked as a nurse at Calvin Johnson Care Center for 38 years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her beloved family.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Beverly (Paul) Phillips-Carissimo, Pearle Phillips, and Ronnie Phillips; grandchildren, Reggie Johnson, Alexia Athmer, Julian Phillips, and Dominick Chaison; and great-grandchildren, Talayiah Anthony and Jadah Johnson.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
