While attending Creighton University she met and married Timothy F. Moore in 1956. Four children (Timothy Jr., MaryBeth, Thomas and Michael) followed shortly thereafter and the family moved to Bellevue, Washington in 1966. Over the next 12 years, while raising her family, she earned a degree in Nursing specializing in pain management and psychiatric care. She retired from that profession in 2007.
Annette especially enjoyed trips to Maui, family dinners on Christmas Eve, her Fiat convertible, admiring brother Jim’s paintings, listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing Ave Maria, curling up on the couch with a good book and her cat Sadie, and following the exploits of her nine grandchildren (Ryan, Dustin, Autumn, Tucker, Nicholas, Colton, Trenten, Camryn and Taylor), five great-grandchildren (Rocco, Nicco, Dominic, Luca and Enzo) on Facebook.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, beloved daughter MaryBeth Burke; sister Linda Schafer and brother James Hansink. In addition to her three sons, she is survived by many close friends and relatives who blessed her life these last few years. She was especially grateful to Christa Hilson, Barbara Sauerbrey, Linda Hansink, son-in-law Jim Burke and daughters-in-law Lisa Moore (in Washington) and Lisa Moore (in Tennessee).
Annette passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021. In accordance with her wishes, the family is planning a small private memorial service after the Covid restrictions are lifted.
