Barbara C. Arneson

Barbara Crenshaw Dorsey Arneson of Bellevue, WA, was born September 27, 1932, in San Jose, CA and passed away December 20, 2010. Barbara was the only child of Robert and Lois (Card) Crenshaw. She was a graduate of Piedmont High School, Piedmont, CA, and attended the University of California, Berkeley, CA, where she was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity. Barbara was a life member of the University of California Alumni Association, and an avid Cal football fan. She was preceded in death by her two beloved husbands, Philip W. Dorsey M.D. and Elwood L. Arneson. She is survived by her children Robert Chesterman, of Bellevue, WA; Amy Chirillo, of Renton, WA; Lucy Holloway (Jerry), of Boise, ID; Polly Chesterman, of Lacey, WA; grandchildren Christopher and Joseph Chirillo; Kelly Turner (Kevin); Timothy and Riley Brooks; Skylar and Heather Holloway; one great-grandson, Jacob Turner; cousins Ruth Crook, of Salinas, CA; and Faye Gillett (Richard), of Bellevue, WA; and many devoted friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 7th, at 12 noon at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, 17222 NE 8th St., Bellevue, WA, 98008, with a reception following. Private internment at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association .
