Barrett Nathan Mayes

Barrett Nathan Mayes, 41, was born in San Antonio, TX on May 13, 1973 and passed away suddenly on July 3, 2014 in Boston, MA. Barrett lived with his family in Issaquah, WA and is survived by his wife, Patty Mayes; sons Zachary (10) and Andrew (5); and his parents Marsha and Terry Mayes. Barrett lived with an excitement for life and never squandered a minute of the adventure. He traveled the world using his love of photography to share his journeys and keep the memories of his experiences alive. He was passionate about science and technology, which fueled his career as an Engineer at Intel. Barrett was an amazing husband and father who loved his family “infinity plus one.” He will be missed in our daily lives, but forever remembered in our hearts.

Patty, Zachary and Andrew would like to thank all their family, friends, and colleagues at FedEx and Intel, for their tremendous support during this difficult time. Their grief has been eased by an abundance of loving thoughts and kind words.
