Colby was born in Puyallup, Washington on August 29, 1997 to Dale and Angela. He attended school and resided in Bothell, Washington, from the middle of 8th grade at Leota Junior High, up to his Junior year at Woodinville High School. Being the hard worker that Colby was, he managed to attain a 4.0 GPA in his Junior year. He was a part-time employee for LeRoy Surveyor’s and Engineer’s Inc. for 2 years, as a Civil Engineering Technician. His goal was to get into the University of Washington and achieve a masters degree in Engineering. Colby had a passion for many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed listening to music, as well as fine-tuning his stereo equipment to make it the best sounding as possible. He loved cars, and strived to one day become an amateur racer. However, his main enthusiasm was devoted to motorcycle’s, which influenced him to get his endorsement prior to being 18, so he could enjoy riding with his father over the summer. He had a passion for guns and also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his mother. In Colby’s early years he enjoyed riding dirt bikes, snowmobiling, boating, off- roading, and video gaming. Colby’s personality consisted of a very humble, modest, and detailed nature. At school, he will always be remembered as a quiet, helpful, individual who would never seek attention. On many occasions, he would stay up late on a school night to put extra effort into his schoolwork in order to accomplish his highest goals. In his free time Colby would spend hours upon hours readjusting his stereo equipment to obtain the best quality of sound possible. Colby never tried to blow out other people’s candle’s in order to make his brighter, he lit other people’s to help them shine. We’ll always miss Colby, but we know that Colby is in a better place.
