Cornelia Elizabeth Wing

Cornelia Matson Wing of Bellevue passed on peacefully to her eternal home in heaven, December 8th. She was born in Seattle, July 30th, 1929 to parents, Anna and Nils Matson. Cornelia graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1947 and attended Washington State University. She married Douglas Wing, February 11, 1949, and was with Douglas for 47 years. He preceded her in death. She was a stay-at-home mom and de lighted in raising her five children, David Wing (Cyndee), Rev. Stephen Wing, LuAnn Wing (Stuart), Mark Wing (Karen) and Matthew Wing (LeeAnn). She was a devout Chris tian leader on the East side for many years and is a member of Rose Hill Presbyterian Church. The many friends she made at church and Bible Study Fellowship were a blessing in her life. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child. The Memorial Service, con ducted by Rev. Stephen Wing, will be at Rose Hill Presbyterian Church, Monday, December 12 at 2PM. A reception will follow. Her positive attitude, devotion to her family, and to helping others will be missed.
