

Donna was born to Simon and Reva Krimsky in Seattle on May 4, 1927.
After graduating from Garfield High School in 1945, she attended business school and then went to work at the credit departments of The Bon Marche and Frederick & Nelson. After visiting friends in San Francisco, she decided to stay and went to work for the San Francisco Credit Bureau and American Trust Bank.
While living in San Francisco, she met her future husband, Paul Weiner, on a blind date on her birthday in 1952. Just over a year later, they were married on June 7, 1953. They had just marked their 59th wedding anniversary, when Donna died.
In the spring of 1954, Paul and Donna moved back to Seattle, where they have resided ever since and grown a lifetime of friends and memories.
Donna enjoyed being with friends, reading, playing mahjong and Sequence, going to the Seattle Pops and Village Theater. She also enjoyed taking cruises. Paul and Donna were founding members of Temple Beth Am.
Donna was preceded in death by both of her parents and her sister, Marian Sidney. She is survived by her husband, Paul, and both sons, Jeff (Susan) of Lewiston, Idaho and Sandy of Lynnwood, Washington. She is also survived by two grand children in Lewiston, Ryan and Nicola.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Donna's wonderful care provider, Mulu, and to the outstanding and caring doctors, nurses and medical staff at Northwest Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Temple Beth Am, Jewish Family Services, and to Northwest Hospital.
Donna's funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12th, at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 1215-145th Pl SE in Bellevue
