He moved to Saigon Viet Nam when he was nine years old. He attended a French school, TABE, with a High school degree. He learned Chinese and English by himself. Our father helped my grandfather to manage a family owned RICE DEPOT business when he was twenty-four years old.
Our father married Miss YEN KHONG in 1943 and they had a happy family with seven girls and three boys.
In 1962, our father was a sales representative for a chemical company, EASTERN SEABOARD, in Saigon, Viet Nam. In 1967, our mother passed away and he raised us by himself. He retired in 1975. In 1986, He resettled in Bellevue, Washington, the United States with five of us, four sisters and a brother to re-unite with the fourth sister. In 1995, our second sister family and in 1996 the fifth sister family came to re-unite with our father. He had seventeen grand- children total.
He was a loving and caring husband, and father. He loved reading, calligraphy, photography, tai chi, music and travel.
He loved to help others. He led a happy, and joy filled life, until on February 2nd, 2012.
