

Kelvin Puthdarit Ieng passed at the age of 30 on Saturday Nov. 5, 2022, at his home in Monroe. His life began July 7, 1992, in Kirkland, Washington to Chanthy and David Ieng. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Washington in 2015. Kelvin built a successful career at Adobe as a Marketing Automation Consultant. He happily married his best friend, Bri, on June 10, 2018.
With his welcoming personality, he had a talent of making friends with anyone. Kelvin always made everyone smile – he was compassionate, loyal, and funny as hell. Kelvin had a desire for learning about others and aimed to bring people together. He was an extraordinary chef and loved to open his home to share his passion for food.
Kelvin was never ashamed to be his most authentic self. His sincerity towards others encouraged those around him to be the best they could be. His energy and contagious laughter filled the room. Kelvin lived to the absolute fullest and inspired his loved ones to do the same.
Kelvin is survived by his wife, Bri Truong; his parents, Chanthy and David Ieng; his mother and father in-law, Chris and Rhick Truong; his siblings, Jonathan and Isabel Ieng; his dogs, Sparrow and Milo; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and an endless list of friends.
Kelvin will be remembered for his giant smile and his outgoing, eccentric personality that made everyone feel at home.
He was one of a kind, and nothing can ever compare to him.
A funeral service for Kelvin will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 1215 145th Place SE, Bellevue, WA 98007. A witness cremation will occur Friday, November 18, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Evergreen Washelli Crematory, 11111 N. Aurora Ave., Seattle, WA 98133.
