Michael Bruce Jestrab

Michael Bruce Jestrab, 63, passed away on January 25, 2022, after a long and valiant battle against brain cancer. He is survived by his husband Larry McGhaw, sisters Patsy Good, Kathy Hess, Celeste Jestrab, brothers Frederick Jestrab and Thomas Jestrab.

Michaels huge heart drove him toward professions to help others in need toward the end of their life in Funeral services and Senior assisted living. He had the effect of quickly endearing people he met, and he kept and maintained friendships for a lifetime. He loved loud music and having long conversations with friends and family.

Michael was born to Dr. George and Phoebe Jestrab on September 29, 1958, in Havre, Montana. He graduated from Havre High School in 1976, then received a BS Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Michael’s parents predeceased him, and he took loving care of them during their illnesses and death.

In 1994, Michael met the love of his life, Larry McGhaw. They were married on July 11, 2013, once it became legal in the state of WA. They had a wonderful and happy life together, near friends and family.

His memorial is on Monday, March 7th at 11:00am at Sunset Hills Memorial in Bellevue, WA.
