Patricia Anna James

Age 85 of Kirkland, Washington passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Pat was born April 6, 1936 in Miles City, Montana to Richard “Dick” Jones and Margaret Kuchera Jones. She is survived by her husband, Harold “Lee” and preceded in death by her loving sister, Priscilla.

Pat was the oldest of 2 girls and the family relocated to Seattle when they were young. She attended Holy Rosary and eventually West Seattle High School where she met the love of her life, Lee. They were married in 1954 and soon started their family of four children, Ken, Patrick, Brian, and Susan. The love of her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren were her greatest achievements. Known as Nana, family was everything.

Pat was creative and always working with her hands. Her love of flowers was her niche. After opening a floral design classroom from her home, she branched out to become a pioneer woman business owner in 1976. She opened Finishing Touch Florist and Gifts in Bellevue, Wa. She taught floral design for over 40 years.

Pat semi retired and in the late 90’s and traveled with her husband to her home in Cabo San Lucas and finally to Gilbert, Arizona for the winter months.

Her love of her family, her animals, and growing flowers on her property were her greatest joys in life. She will truly be missed by all of us.
