

Ralmond Leo Rutkowski was born November 30, 1942 in Chicago Illinois, to Edmund and Bernice Rutkowski. He passed away peacefully on April 5, 2015 in Seattle, WA, with his children and daughter-in-law present.
Ralmond grew-up in Chicago, with big sister Sandie. He completed a year at the University of Illinois before moving to Clearwater Florida with his parents. He attended University of Florida, and earned degrees in Architecture and Building Construction in 1966. He was a member of the university’s Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.
He was hired straight out of college by The Boeing Company of Seattle Washington. A road trip across country, including a rolling watermelon and a visit to Four Corners National Monument, was the beginning of his life in the Puget Sound area. Ralmond had a 32 year career in Facilities. Including Director of Facilities of the Everett site, and facilities consolidation during the McDonnell Douglas merger.
He retired from Boeing in 1999 and moved to Mukilteo. Retirement gave Ralmond opportunity to spend more time enjoying his favorite pastimes of golfing, fishing, cards/poker, and caring for his dog Coco.
Ralmond married Sally M. Bixby of Mercer Island, WA on December 16, 1967. They celebrated 42 years of marriage, until her passing in February 2009. Ralmond and Sally raised their family, Jennifer Rutkowski (daughter) and Daniel Rutkowski (Son), in Bothell, WA where they lived for 25 years. He was also blessed with 7.5 years of enjoyment of grandson, Owen Leo Rutkowski.
Ralmond is survived by mother Bernice Rutkowski of Fort Myers, FL; sister Sandie Willin of Cape Coral, FL; daughter Jennifer Rutkowski of Renton, WA; Daniel (Courtney) Rutkowski of Seattle, WA; and grandson Owen Rutkowski of Seattle, WA.
Funeral service will be at 11am, April 30th (Thursday), at St. Monica Catholic Church on Mercer Island, Washington. Reception will follow in the church hall. Burial will follow reception at Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Mercer Island, Washington.
