Ricky is survived by his wife, Doris Choi, two children and their spouses: Alice Vongkhamchanh (Jake), Alan Choi (Nancy) and five grandchildren: Tyler, Kyle, Annah, Naiden, Alayna.
Born in Canton China, 2nd oldest child with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. At the young age of 7, he left his family in hopes to find and provide a better future. He lived with relatives who shaped him to be the selfless and generous man that he was. In return, he shared that same support by sponsoring over a dozen families.
His interests included; cooking, gardening and spending time with his friends and family. With weekly Dim Sum lunch gatherings with close friends, watching sports and serving as a personal chef to his 5 grandchildren.
