

He was a man of humble beginnings, but he was rich in ways that cannot be measured by material possessions. He was full in wisdom, in kindness and in love. He only had a high school education, but he was the kind of man who knew the value of hard work, the importance of honesty and the strength of humility. He loved everyone unconditionally and gave generously to all. He always thought of others and was always willing to help when and where he could.
Soon Hong Look was married to May Wan-Suen Shum on June 28, 1975. He would have celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary with his wife in June 2025. He worked for the Postal Service and retired in 2018. He was hard-working and very dedicated to his work. He was known for not missing a day at work. When he retired, he had 2500 hours of accrued sick leave. Despite his work, he always made time for his family and friends.
He enjoyed many things, but his favorites were going to Costco, gardening, spending time with his sister, You Oy Woo and calling his sister, Shun Yau Chew in New York. He was also known for his unwavering faith in God. His dedication to his faith and his desire to bring light and God's love to everyone he met, was always apparent. Those who came in contact with him, will remember him for his deeply rooted faith in Jesus. He always told people, despite his illness, that God is good.
He is survived by his wife, May Look and his three children, Judy Zaccaria, and Grace and Raymond Look.
