Tuesdays with Tom
  Tom was not just a client. He was such a special man, a bright spot in every Tuesday.  We will miss his kindness and laughter.  Losing Tom is like losing a part of our family.  We will miss Tuesdays with Tom.  Gloria Rogan, Tom's masseuse and Tristen McLaren his acupuncturist

Tom worked with us at Virginia Mason, Cardiac Rehabilitation after his heart surgery Jan. 27, 2011.  He worked very hard.  He was methodical and determined.  His health improved far more than we ever expected.  He was truly an inspiration to many.  He set the bar very high.  I am thrilled that we was able to live a vibrant and independent life to the end.  We will miss him a lot.

So sorry for your loss Karen.  What a great relationship you had with your father.  His legacy lives on in you.  Such  great guy... a tremendous loss for all.

Those we love don't go away.

I wish I could be there for the Celebration of Life.  What a wonderful life to celebrate.  I will really miss cousin Tom.

Uncle tom was an amazing, spunky, loving man and will be missed tremendously.

I loved Uncle Tom so much!  I am thinking of you all at this sad time.

Tom was born in a small town in Maryland, lived through the Great Depression,
graduated from high school, joined the U.S. Air Corps during WWll, moved
across the country to Washington State after the war, completed his college
education. married a most lovely lady, had a wonderful family, and was most
successful in his professional and business endeavors. Tom was not only a
part of the "Greatest Generation" but a leader in every respect. Our condol-
ences to his family.

I have known and worked with Tom and Rosemary for many years in a professional capacity.  Over time, we became good friends and we occasionally shared experiences over lunches and casual meetings. 

Tom has always been intimately involved with his business investments and has accordingly been successful in doing so.  More than anything else, I have been impressed with his devotion to his family.  He was always busily engaged with family activities and family businesses.  He lived to help his children's and grandchildren's lives become more meaningful and fruitful.  His life became richer and happier when he worked to enrich the lives of his family.  

I saw the joy in his life and he lived his life with meaning.  He only lived once, but he did it right.  His legacy is full of love, hard work, achievement, honesty, integrity, and compassion.  We can look to him and say his life was indeed lived well.

I will always reflect and remember the very good things he did and stood for.  Those happy memories will remain with me and I am pleased that I had the opportunity to have known him.

     Our hearts go out to you for your Dad's passing.  We so enjoyed having Tom as our friend and neighbor for the last 12 years or so.  Our daughter, Tina, sends her condolences as well.  It was so great to see your Dad's eyes light up as he talked about his days at Sammamish High School, and you could tell he had a real love for young people.  Your Mom and Dad
were both such warm, caring people and we enjoyed our times with them. We already miss Tom's wave from the mailbox and will for a long time to come. Our prayers are with you.

 The circumstances of how we met albeit brief, frankly lacked, your horse.....sad. But thank you for the honor of letting me be present at your father's journey. As a nurse, the greatest privilege, is being present at the beginning of a life, and at the end. Your father will always be with you......no doubt in my mind.
