Mei-Hsuan was born in Tainan, Taiwan on October 3, 1974. She graduated from University of Wisconsin Madison with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and from University of Washington-Seattle with a master's degree in Information Management. She worked as software engineer in Microsoft for several years before becoming a dedicated mom of four wonderful children—Lawrence, Lily, Liam and Leon. She enjoyed being active outdoors, baking and sharing bread, and spending time with family. She loved warm weather, reading novels, and bringing a smile to other people's faces.
She is survived by her husband Fei and her children.
