Charles worked for over 30 years at Peterson Farms in Decatur and was an avid coon and squirrel hunter.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dick Patton; and one grandchild, Little Ramon.
Survivors include his two daughters, Terri Winchester of Bentonville and Charlyn Newburn of Bentonville; two sons, Ramon Patton and his wife Judy of Decatur and Marty Patton and his wife Denise of Anderson, MO; two brothers, Bob Patton of Decatur and Steve Patton and his wife Pam of Watts, OK; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Charles will be Monday, December 5, 2011 from 6-8pm at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Services will be 1pm Tuesday, December 6 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Decatur Cemetery.
