Christopher Michael Theodorou (AKA “Coach”) of Bentonville, AR passed away on Saturday August 23, 2025, at the age of 68. He was born on July 7th, 1957, in Famagusta, Cyprus. Christophers’ family immigrated to Walthamstow, London, England, where he spent his early years.
Chris had many successful careers throughout his life, car sales, vehicle importing and exporting through many countries, built his own successful lawncare company from the ground up; but his true love lied in coaching futbol/soccer. His greatest passion in life was coaching children for over twenty years. He was actively involved with Sporting Arkansas Soccer. Chris’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, from his family who adored him, to the hundreds of kids he guided through youth soccer. He will be remembered for his quick wit, outlandish sense of humor, and the way he could light up a room with just a perfectly timed word.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Dora Theodorou; and brother, Andy Theodorou.
He is survived by: loving wife, Karan Michael; sons, Nick Michael, Anthony Jardine (Meghan), and Dean Sone (Jayd); daughters, Chelsea Puckett (Andrew), Melissa Pascucci (Rich), Louise Ditchburn (Phillip), and Antonia Theodorou; grandchildren, Juniper Puckett, Genevieve Puckett, Julian Scappaticci, Jackson Pascucci, Tallulah Pascucci, Dayne Jardine, Haven Jardine, Everett Jardine, Frank Sone, Harry Sone, Phoebe Sone, Joseph Ditchburn, Thomas Ditchburn; brother John Theodorou; and sister Maria Theodorou.
Though he is no longer with us, the love, the laughter, and lessons he left behind will carry on for generations.
