Edwin Ray Whatley, 76, passed away on July 4, 2021 in Centerton. He was born on June 28, 1945 in Santa Monica, California to the late Arthur (Ray) and Martha (Polly) (Rucker) Whatley. He was the husband of the late Sharon Gaylia Whatley.
Edwin was a computer genius and worked as a programmer for years. He liked anything to do with electronics. He enjoyed gaming, searching genealogies, and sports. Edwin was very skilled at decorating for Christmas and hanging lights, but liked to drive around looking at neighboring Christmas lights as well.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; and brother, Paul Whatley.
He is survived by his son, Chad and Cheryl Whatley of Pea Ridge; daughter, Malissa Wulfman of Bentonville; sister-in-law, Sue Whatley; and niece, Kim Braziel.
He was a proud grandfather of five grandchildren; Alli Whatley, Sara Whatley, Brandon Whatley, Kirstyn Wulfman, and Desiree Wulfman.
