

George Clayton Emigh, 93, of Rogers, Arkansas and formerly of Canton, Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021. He was born March 7, 1928, in Collinsville, Oklahoma to the late Frank Allen Emigh and Jess McKinney Emigh. George was also preceded by a daughter, Frances Kay Emigh. After proudly serving in the US Army, he began more than 40-year career as a machinist with aircraft manufacturers. Mr. Emigh enjoyed fishing, treasure hunting with his metal detector and taking road trips to Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife of more than 40 years, Edith Emigh; a daughter, Paula Brusso and husband Steve, of Bella Vista; step-son, Steve Roy and wife Rosie, of Texas; his sister, Emily Timmons, of Ariz; his brother, Clyde Emigh and wife Eula, of Tulsa; grandchildren, Georgia Briant and husband Dan, of Missouri and Leslie Ammon and husband Jason, of South Carolina; 2 great-grandchildren, Stephanie Ammon, and Wyatt Ammon; his ex-wife, Lorene Emigh of Bella Vista; and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Funeral service will begin at 2:00pm, Thursday, July 8, 2021, in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville, Okla with interment to follow.
