Paul M. Smith, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on May 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was the people he loved most.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He had a lifelong love for sports, especially football and golf, and was a loyal fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. He also had a deep passion for music and found great joy in playing throughout his life. Known for his strong work ethic, Paul spent many years working as a salesman and truly never met a stranger.
Most importantly, Paul was a man of strong faith who loved the Lord and found comfort and strength in his relationship with God throughout his life.
Above all else, Paul cherished his family. He is survived by his children: Braden and Christina Ash (Nick, Jymme Ann, Zoe, Bo, and Tierney); Holly and James Hensley (Hayden and Caliber); Amber and Chad Cook (Macee and Jaxson); and Dakota and Mary Smith (Karleigh, Noah, and Abilene). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, and his sister, Brenda Honeycutt and her husband, Joe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Georgia Smith; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Shirley Smith; his grandson, Tylor Moore; and his son, Luther Lee Smith.
Paul will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, his unwavering faith, his passion for music and sports, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.
The family asks that Paul be remembered not for the way he passed, but for the way he lived—with love for his family, pride in his service, steadfast faith, and joy in the moments spent together.
