Bob Clinard, age 75, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at Circle of Life in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born in 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was raised in Harrah and McLoud, Oklahoma. A proud veteran, Bob served in the United States Army Reserve from 1970 to 1974. He attended Oklahoma State University and remained a lifelong and passionate OSU fan.
Above all else, Bob’s faith guided his life. A lifelong member of the Church of Christ, his relationship with God was the foundation of who he was and the lens through which he lived, served, and loved others. His faith shaped his generosity, humility, and unwavering commitment to helping people.
In 1992, Bob moved his family to Bentonville, Arkansas, where he spent more than 30 years building both his career and his community in Northwest Arkansas. He worked in construction management and owned his own business for much of his professional life. From 2011 to 2016, Bob took a break from construction to serve as Benton County Judge, continuing his lifelong commitment to service. At the time of his passing, he was semi-retired.
Bob was known for his generous spirit and genuine love for helping others. He never sought recognition or praise — he helped simply because it was who he was. He carried a strong work ethic throughout his life and instilled those same values in his children. He was deeply devoted to his family and immensely proud of each of them.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Juanita Clinard.
He is survived by his children, Sarah Clinard; Russell Clinard and his wife, Jodie; and Luke Clinard and his wife, Emily; his grandchildren, Estella, Campbell, Duke, and Charley; His sister, Linda Ecker and her husband, Jim; His brother, Mark Clinard and his wife, Suzanne. and his beloved granddogs, Tucker, Cooper, and Birdie.
Bob will be remembered for his steadfast faith, integrity, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and community.
