Saundra "Sandi" Lou Dye passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on July 31, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Sandi was a strong willed and adventurous spirit that explored the country before settling down in Tulsa, OK to raise her two children, J.Anna and Patrick. An accountant for years, she crunched numbers by day and found joy in her free time with her family, reading books, spending time on the lake fishing, doing a little "shimmy shake" when the mood struck and had a large passion for animals. Her smile and infectious laughter could brighten any room and her kindness always had a way of making a stranger instantly feel like family.
Sandi eventually settled down in Arkansas with the love of her life, Stephen Dye. The two joined their large tribes to make one big, beautiful family. The last decade of her life was spent adoring her grandchildren, Brooklyn and Ashton, and spoiling her beloved golden retriever, Dakota. Even until the end, her love for her family let her hold on long enough to say goodbye to the ones that meant the most to her.
Sandi is survived by her children, J.Anna Aloisi (Michael) of Southwick, MA, Patrick Orbison (Halie) of Tulsa, OK, Michael Dye of Fayetteville, AR, Lisa Cotton of Bella Vista, AR, and Becca Poe of Fayetteville, AR. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ashton Aloisi and Brooklyn Aloisi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Paul Dye; her father, James Curtis Walker; her mother, Dolores Mae Walker; her brothers, Jimmy Walker and Barry Walker; and her granddaughter, Katherine Poe.
Sandi will forever be remembered, loved and missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice.
