

Sid was born on August 21, 1936, in Cleveland, Mississippi. He excelled in high school sports and had a successful stint in professional tennis before working in the field of marketing and advertising. He retired as Regional Manager for Warner-Lambert Company (now Pfizer).
Sid started a family and eventually settled in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was loving, funny, and kind. He always had a joke ready. He enjoyed watching boxing, Dallas Cowboys football, and old westerns. He was an excellent pool player and he loved all forms of music. Later in life, he authored two books; “The Pool Room” and “Game, Set, Match”.
Sid attended church at Kelham Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK.
He is survived by his children, Arvil Sidney (Sonny) Ragland, Jr. (daughter, Sydnee Nycole), Guy Paul Ragland (daughter, Kira Laine), and Deborah M. Decker (sons, Matthew L. and Nathan C.). He is also survived by his siblings: Ronald, Larry, Curtis, and Ann.
He joins his parents, Ernest Alonzo Ragland and Audrey Olivia Ragland, as well as his brother, Ernest Jr., in God’s kingdom.
