On a beautiful spring evening in Oklahoma City, March 23, Bill M.Collins peacefully passed away at 89. Bill graduated from Central High and joined the Army National Guard. While in the 45th Div, Bill served
two terms in WWII as 1st Sergeant. In the battle of Anzio, Italy, he was wounded & received the
Purple Heart. Also, he was a 32nd Degree Mason. He worked in Insurance Claims until he retired.
Bill was preceded in death by wife Ruth of 52 yrs; mother, Bess; father, Mike & sister Jane Stanmire. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Williams and Coby Collins Hardison; their husbands, Jerry Williams and Ed Hardison; Grandkids, Kristi Hoskins and Kelly Coonts; their husbands; Stan Hoskins and Randall Coonts; step-grandkids, Dr. Lance Hardison and Kristin Stejskal; her husband, Chad Stejskal; great grandkids, Carter, Presley, Madison, Luke, Graham & Kyden.
