Oklahoma City resident, Carolyn “Gayle” Hampton, 83, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017. She was born in Oklahoma City to Johnny and Lida Mousner. Gayle loved to travel and take cruises with her family. She loved being a mother and grandmother, and cherished her time with all of them. She was a woman of strong faith and was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. Gayle was preceded in death by her parents and son, Ronald Hampton. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Pam Hampton; grandchildren, Alissa Westbrook and Michael Hampton; great grandchildren, Julian Hampton and Frankie Olson; cousin, Nancy Horton; as well as many dear friends.
