Dixie “Irene” Bolin-Parkerson was born on 12/26/1938. After a long battle with cancer, she finally found peace on Friday, 9/24/2010, giving Heaven another angel. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marie Smith and brother, Thomas Smith. She is survived by her husband, Roy Parkerson of OKC; daughter, Shelia Smith and her husband R.J. of OKC; son, Roy Anderson and wife Trina of Newcastle; 6 step children; 2 sisters, Daisy Broadway and Gladys Canary; 10 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Wed, 9/29/2010, at the Pentecostal Church of God Indian Mission. Interment will follow at the Dale Cemetery. The family would like to thank Excell Hospice for everything they have done, and a special thanks to Trish Westcott. “Irene” was a beloved mother and grandmother that blessed our lives dearly.
