Donald Allen Romine, 80, passed away Sept. 17, 2012. Don was born to Charles Ozro Romine and Ruth Romine (Polk) on March 11, 1932. Don worked for several oil companies as a geological draftsman until his retirement. He was married July 25, 1971 to Mary (Schmidt) (Troutman) Romine for 41 years.
Don’s hobbies included fishing, furniture building, woodworking, and guitar building. Don also enjoyed restoring special interest cars, and spending time with is family.
Don was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister Nerissa Anderson. He leaves behind his wife Mary, sons, John Romine and wife Kristi of OKC, Don Romine Jr. and wife Deborah of Piedmont, Davey Romine and wife Tina of Edmond, Joe Romine of OKC, Darin Troutman and wife Kim of Bethany. Grandchildren Melissa Nelson, Jacob Romine, Justin Romine, Jason Troutman, and wife Lacey, Brent Romine, Chance Troutman, Chase Romine, Kendal Romine, Casie Romine, Blake Troutman, Shelby Romine, Garrett Romine, Great-Grandchild Cadence Romine, sister Ruth Ann and husband Ivan Reutter of Blackwell.
A memorial service will be held at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 21st, at 10:00 a.m.
