Elaine Webster

Elaine Webster, most recently of OKC, passed from this life on Fri, Mar 3rd, 2017. She was born in Wewoka, OK and spent most of her life in the OKC area. She was a 1948 graduate of Central High School, and attended Lindenwood College. Elaine married her high school sweetheart, Bill Webster, on Oct 21, 1949 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral. They have been married 67 years! She and Bill were members of the OKC Gridiron Club, and are members of the Okie “A’s” Model A Club. Throughout her life, Elaine worked for SW Bell, OKC Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the OK Coaches Association. But the “job” she was most proud of was wife and Mom. Elaine was Bill’s perfect sidekick and will always be his “little girl”. She was the best Mom anyone could wish for and always put others first. Her feisty zest for life was contagious and will be part of us all forever! Elaine enjoyed bowling, reading & traveling, and loved to go to the casinos! She was preceded in death by her mother, Rubylee Foster and Bill’s parents, Dan and Jessie Webster. Elaine is survived by her husband, Bill, and their 3 daughters, Shirley Webster & Hanky; Sue Harris & husband Terry; and Shelley Waggoner & husband David. 2 grandsons, Brian Wise & Collin Waggoner. Granddaughter, Jennifer Linsenbarth & husband Josh. 2 great grandchildren, Jacob & Josie. Special thanks to Interim Health/Hospice, most especially Sharon, Amber, Yolanda, Lisa & Tracey.
