Evlyn was born April 2, 1934 to Arthur & Clara Olson in Fort Dodge, Iowa where she attended school. She attended and graduated from college in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a lab technician. Evyln married Charles Wachel on April 6, 1954. They did a lot of traveling, and decided to settle down in Oklahoma City to start their family of four. Evlyn was a homemaker and loving mother who enjoyed gardening, arts & crafts, watching birds, sports (OU Sooners, OKC Thunder and OSU Cowboys) shopping and her dog Buddy. Evlyn’s goal in life was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren and she did a wonderful job at that. She has helped make so many happy memories and will be missed dearly by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Charlene and her husband Charles. Evlyn is survived by her three children, Charles, Diane and Denise, in which she has 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
