Jimmie "Pat" O. White

Oklahoma City resident, Jimmie “Pat” Orson White, age 84, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021. He was born December 2, 1936 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Orson Lisle White and Dannah Fern (Nash) McGilvrey. He grew up in Stillwater and as a young child was diagnosed with Polio, which took a toll on him in recent years. Pat eventually settled in Oklahoma City in the early 70’s, having lived in the same home since 1976. Pat was diagnosed with cancer in the late 90’s, and after that battle, he had a much greater appreciation for life. While he loved his children, his grandchildren and great grandchildren were his whole world. He took great pride in knowing all of their birthdays and special occasions and letting them know they were each special to him. He also greatly enjoyed “social time” at the YMCA. Pat will be remembered mostly for his strong mind, his unbelievable work ethic, and his love and dedication to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; grandson, Erube; and 2 great grandchildren, Dominic and Malachi. He is survived by his children, Michael (Beverly) White, Pat White, Darla (Jerry) Catlin, Gayla (Randy) Cosby, and Jeff (Emily) White; grandchildren, Heather, Kimberly, Michael Jr., Christian, Norman, Rafael, Boogie, Jason, Stephanie, Joshua, Little Jason, Christopher, Jacob, Eli, Maddyson, Cassie, Tiffany, and Andrew; great grandchildren, Shanece, Jalen, DaJuan, Bridget, Dakotah, Malachi, Cameron, Austin, Emma, Aubree, Isabella, Vinny, Samantha, Norma, Norman Jr., Matel, Marta, Samantha, Lil Fredrick, Gauge, Kyler, Tripp, Kayden, Jordyn, Amarie, Rashan, Ella, Kalan, Kacen, Karter, Kollyns, Harley, Cheyenne, Hannah, Tyler, and Maegan; great-great grandchild, Kingstonn; siblings; Grace Bearry and Pansy Andrews; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
