We honor the life and legacy of Laquita (Teetee) Lea Johnson, who was born Oct. 23, 1930 to Harold and Virgie Bowers in Duncan, OK. The 1st of 3 children. On Jan. 15, 1947 she married her partner for life, Loyd Johnson. She was a homemaker, wife and mother the majority of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Diaz, and son Mike Johnson and wife Joni. She was a wonderful grandmother to her grandsons Cole and Kyle Johnson and wife Annie and two great-grandsons Brantley and Landon Johnson all of Mustang. She is also survived by grandchildren Jason Diaz and Olivia Nicks and great-grandchildren Lila and Bodhi, two brothers Buddy Bowers and wife Donna, Howard Bowers and wife Donna and a sister, Linda Nicholson.
Visitation will be 10am-5pm Saturday and 12pm-4pm Sunday at Bill Merritt Funeral Home.
Services will be 1pm Monday, January 8, 2018 at Bill Merritt Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
