

Oklahoma City resident, Larry Ernest Marzett-Hildreth, age 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Larry was born October 17, 1954 in Phoenix, Arizona to Claude Hildreth and Estella (Pat) Marzett Tillman. He grew up in the Spencer/Choctaw area and graduated from Dunjee High School in Spencer. Shortly after graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp and served for just over 7 years before being honorably discharged. He met the love of his life, Patricia Thompson and they married on December 31, 1989. Larry became “Big Daddy” to her 5 children, whom he loved dearly. Larry and Patricia were members of Victory Church. Larry loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could. He was a friend to everyone and lived to serve others. Larry was chivalrous and kind. He had the most beautiful deep voice and a twinkle in his eye. His smile, generosity, and love for everyone is what will be remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Williams; and grandparents, Lonnie and Laura Marzett. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia Marzett; children, Curtis, Cavin, Tela, William, and LaShena; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Betty Marzett-Hildreth and Sadie Marzett; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
