Leona Marline Urschel passed away April 20, 2017 in OKC at the age of 80. Leona was born in Butler, OK to Clarence Delmar and Ethel Pearl Miller Byfield. She was born and raised in Butler, OK and came to Oklahoma City in 1974.
Leona was a homemaker as well as holding many different types of jobs with a variety of companies. She was an avid gardener, loved cooking and crafts and her house was the place to stop for the best Halloween candies because it was her favorite holiday and she went way over board with treats. She also loved her family and especially her grandchildren.
Leona was preceded in death by her parents, C.D. and Ethel Byfield, husband, Austin L. “Bud” Urschel and 5 sisters, Mabel, Ruth, Letha, Nodean and Viola.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Patty Hall, Darla (Michael) Fiorot and Cindy Holguin all of OKC, 4 grandchildren, Jerry Salas, Brian (Ashley) Melton, Tasha Fiorot and Justin Fiorot, 3 great grandchildren, Haidyn, Makayla and Kiera and numerous other relatives and friends.
