Margie Crouch went to be with her Lord on July 13, 2015. She was born October 16, 1929 in McAlester, OK, daughter of the late A.L. (Doc) and Ruby Beshear. She had one brother and three sisters. On December 26, 1948, she married Glen Crouch, and they were married for 42 years before Glen's passing in 1991. Margie earned a Bachelor's in Education and a Master's in Counseling, and taught and counseled elementary school children throughout her life. She had a heart for service and loved all family, especially her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She loved to travel and enjoyed playing games, including pinochle, skipbo, chickenfoot, and more. She was a big sports fan, cheering on OU, as well as OSU, as long as they weren’t playing OU. She expanded to include cheering for her granddaughters’ colleges, again, as long as they weren’t playing OU. She also spent many years later in life rooting for the OKC Thunder, and she’d be happy to tell you what Kevin Durant shot from the floor the previous night. She lost the love of her life at a young age, but never let setbacks change her sweet disposition. She brought joy to all around her. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two siblings, Leon Beshear and Mary Cordell. Survivors include her sisters, Kathryn Conner and Wanda Barringer, son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Melvina Crouch of San Antonio, TX, daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and George Moore of Ft. Worth, TX, 4 granddaughters, Lynn Shallue, husband Tom, Jessica Moore, Sara Burris, husband Wesley, and Lara Crouch, along with her 3 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Meghan Shallue, and Scott Burris.
