Mary Burnett Davis

Mary was born on September 11, 1936, in Texas to Robert E. Burnett and Louise Ophelia Jones. She spent much of her life in Texas before moving to Oklahoma in 1999, where she remained until her passing.

She was a woman of dedication and accomplishment, earning her college degree, receiving a Bachelor of Arts, and becoming a Certified Public Accountant. Her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident throughout her life.

Mary was a member of North MacArthur Church of Christ and found great joy in her faith. She especially loved Christian music and treasured time spent with her family, her perfect day being one surrounded by those she loved most.

On August 29, 1955, she married Calvin, and they shared many years together until his passing in 1996.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Lou Lampert; Diana Bullock and husband Joe; Marci Wagnon and husband Kerry; Roy Davis and wife Karen; Twila DeSpain and husband Tim; and Jonathan Davis and wife Sarah. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a great source of pride and joy in her life.

Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, James (Jimmy) Burnett and Bobby Burnett; and her sister Linda Nichols.

She will be fondly remembered by a large extended family, including numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many who were blessed by her kindness and care. Her family also expresses heartfelt gratitude to the many caregivers who provided her with excellent care.

Mary will be remembered for her love of family, her steadfast faith, and the warmth she brought to those around her.
