Sandra Gail “Sandy” Smith died November 16, 2011 at the age of 74. She was born in Brocton, New York on April 2, 1937 to Harold and Evelyn Johnson. After graduating from high school she married her first love Haywood “Bud” Smith and
they were married 47 years until his death in 2004. They moved to Oklahoma City with their two boys Dana and Gary in 1965. Sandy raised her boys, was a homemaker, and also worked for 37 years at Hefner Middle School in the
cafeteria. She retired in 2009 to a life of gardening, friends and family. She is survived by a family and friends who misses her dearly: Barbara her sister (and best friend), Dana and his son Casey, Gary and his wife Kathleen and their
two children Scott and Emma. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2011, at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel in Bethany, OK.
