Shad Monroe Sanders

Shad Monroe Sanders, age 43, died January 6, 2011. He was born December 14, 1967 in Oklahoma City. He was the loving son to Steve & Barbara Sanders and Sherian & Jerry Smith, wonderful big brother to Shae Lynn Cardenas, Jeri Ann Lundy, Kristen Nicole Lundy and Amy Nicole Bentley. He is survived by his life partner Wayne Markham and his babies Miss Jackson and Canyon. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles that are far to many to list. Shad owned and ran the Coliseum Salon at 6501 N. Brookline in Oklahoma City. It was his pleasure to have served many clients over the years that had become like family. He lives behind a legacy of jokes, laughs and his amazing flirting smile. It was his heart’s desire and gave him true joy to donate to such worthy causes as Toys For Tots and Other Options. He laughed hard, smiled often, loved deeply and made a impact on everyone he met. Viewing is 8-5 Monday, 8-8 Tuesday with the services on Wednesday 10am at Bill Merritt’s Funeral Home in Bethany. A Memorial Fund is place at Oklahoma Educators Credit Union in Shad’s name. Shad, from all of us who knew you, we will see you soon and you will look “FABULOUS”!
