

Tom W. Ohm, 81, passed away Wednesday, December 07, 2011 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma; he was born September 23, 1930, in Yutan, Nebraska. Tom was the son of Harvey P. and Loretta Ohm. He attended school in Valley, Nebraska where he received several athletic honors. He attended Midland College before enlisting in the United States Navy. He served during the Korea Conflict and also played football for the U.S. Navy. He began his career working for his father for Hunt Transportation. Later moved to Oklahoma City and established his own business. He was the owner/operator for Livestock Carriers Inc. for many years. He was member of the 32nd Degree Masons. He retired from Oklahoma City West Stockyards, where he enjoyed visiting with the many friends he grew fond of over the years. On May 7th 1955 he married the love of his life, Mary Lee Jordan. To this union were born Rocky Lynn Ohm of Dover, OK, and Tamara Dawn Ohm of Edmond, OK. He was an avid card player and enjoyed many other outdoor activities. He loved to spend time with friends and most importantly family, son Rocky and wife Carla, Daughter Tami and Gena Harvey, Grandson Rowdy and wife Laura of Dover, OK, Granddaughter Chelsea Williams and husband JR Williams of Kingfisher, OK. As well as Great Grandchildren Ella and Ava Ohm, Bode and Tucker Williams and sister Jean Albers and her husband Jim. During his last days he enjoyed visits from his great grandkids, friends and family. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2011 at Bill Merritt Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:00pm-8:00p.m.
