December 18, 1968 – November 26, 2025
Tracey Dawn Inskeep was born on December 18, 1968, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Donald and Betty (Holder) Inskeep. She grew up in Oklahoma City, where she graduated from Putnam City High School.
Tracey had a heart of gold. She was dependable, thoughtful, and an open book to anyone who knew her—and even those who didn’t. She never met a stranger and marched confidently to the beat of her own drum. Tracey was a precious sister to Nancy and would do anything for her. She was Nancy’s rock, her constant support, and she will be forever missed. Though she never married or had children, her nephews were the light of her life, and she cherished her role as “Aunt Tracey” above all else.
A lifelong animal lover, especially of cats, Tracey’s gentle spirit extended to every creature she encountered. She remained a kid at heart throughout her life and found joy in playing video games and embracing her playful side. She also displayed deep devotion and compassion as the caregiver for her mother during the final years of her life, until her mother’s passing in 2023.
Tracey is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Larry Cavnar; and her beloved nephews, Josh and Justin Cavnar.
Viewing will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.
