Vicky Lynn Thomas

Vicky Lynn (Raile) Thomas, age 72, passed away Friday November 27, 2020. She was born October 24, 1948 in Madison, Nebraska to David and Dee Raile. After moving to Oklahoma City she ran a daycare center out of her home where she touched numerous families over the years. She was an avid OKC Thunder fan and especially enamored with Russell Westbrook. It was not uncommon to hear Ozzy Osbourne blasting through the windows on a Saturday morning while she cleaned the house. Vicky is survived by sister Jeanne Nelson, of Nebraska. Daughter Rebecca Knippenberg-Combs, her sons Darrel and Derek, of Tulsa. Son Elias Knippenberg, his wife Danielle, their daughters Destiny, her husband Ryan Marshall, and their daughter Luna, and Nicole Knippenberg, of Oklahoma City. Daughter Teressa Hughes, her husband Johnathan, their children Tyler Knippenberg, Brandon Boise, Kendall Boise, Nate Hughes, Jace Hughes, of Bethany. Son William Thomas II, his wife Lynsey, their children Katelynn, Karter, Koleton, Karson, of Bethany. Daughter Hope Ann Thomas of Ponca City. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings David “Al” Raile, Kenny Raile, Donald Raile, Jimmy Raile, Kathryn French, Beverly Raile. The family would like to express extreme gratitude to The Grande formally Grace Living Center for their wonderful care of Vicky the last several years. Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 12, 2020 at 2pm. The service will be at Bill Merritt Funeral Home, 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK. and will be streamed live on Facebook from the Bill Merritt Funeral Service Facebook page for remote viewing. In lieu of flowers funeral expense donations are greatly appreciated.
