Albert Joseph Donnelly – 68 On Friday, January 26, 2018, Albert was called to the Lord after a long courageous battle with cancer. He passed away in Brooklyn NY, his home for all of his life. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Gertrude Donnelly, his maternal grandparents Joseph and Margaret Darcy and his paternal grandparents James and Johanna Donnelly. He is survived by his sister Gertrude Luchun and her husband Joel, his niece Joela Andersen, her husband Steven and their children Anna Marie Betkavsky, Garrett Andersen and Lily Andersen. Albert was a devoted son and brother. He had a loving interest in Joela and her family and enjoyed watching them grow and experience life. He loved living in Brooklyn and enjoyed the culture and excitement of New York City. Albert was a caring man who had an infectious smile. He has many friends who will miss him. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1st at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 147 Main St. in Johnson City NY from 9:30 to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow with internment at Chenango Valley Cemetery in Hillcrest NY.
